Heritage Trails

The Heritage Trails in central Reading have been designed as 'do it yourself conducted tours' You can download the guide by clicking on one of the links below:-

The Potts Trail
This will take you from Trooper Potts Way to the north of the railway station to the Potts Memorial opposite the Crown Courts

The Abbey Quarter Tour
This will take you from St James Church to the Abbey Gateway to see the ruins of Reading Abbey. However this requires you to wear a hard hat and be taken by one of the volunteers on special opening days

Statues and carvings
This will take you around the eastern part of Reading town centre to see some of the public works of art on display
